Entertainment is one of the big draws at the Festival and showcases over a dozen local groups. The Committee has an AV group and an entertainers group.

We are in particular need of volunteers to help with the entertainers’ side. See that description below, but if you can manage AV issues we could use back up during Festival for those positions as well.

Entertainment Wrangler

  1. In the months before Festival, reach out to various community entertainers to ask if they would like to perform (we have a pretty good list, but always happy for new ideas)

  2. Work out a performance schedule for the weekend- generally set this as entertainers confirm during the early months

  3. Coordinate with AV team to get all the production details (we will make a form with these questions, ie. What format will your music be (ipod list, spotify, etc)

  4. Keep the entertainments groups informed of logistics such as parking, tickets for family, etc

  5. Thank each group and get their feedback so we can improve

Entertainment Greeters (2-3 people over the course of the Festival weekend) - Welcome the entertainers to Festival, bring performers to café, make sure they have what they need.
